Rob's pre-match musings Yo,

The team for the final this week will be unchanged for the semi-final side. That is:

Rob Lavery, Ian North, Matt Fisher, Angivin Gunasehar, Dave Elliott, Rob Herne, Grimey Walker, Dylan Calder, Chris Sweet, Doug Alley, Richard Smith

Reserves: Roger Moore, Pickles Walker, James Johnston, Al Lemarchand

Rog, Pickler, Jim and Al - if you boys get the chance to come down, that would be great. If you make it down then bring your whites as you may be required in the field if you're feeling primed and ready.

Be at the ground 12:30 for tickles and toast (BYO toast).

At the risk of unleashing a cliché, it was all 20 players who've turned out this year that allowed us to prosper from a draw (in the semi final). Essentially, we earned our spot with a good, year-long performance. Giddy up one and all

Now we can release the beast in the final

Rob

Fish's Excellent Idea: MBCC Supporters Day (Sunday)

Was thinking that as we are playing in the grand final... in case you had forgotten, that we would have a bit of a supporters day on Sunday.... not to say that supporters weren't welcome tomorrow....

What I was thinking is that if people would like to invite their other halves, family, friends or whoever (Dribbles) along to the game on Sunday then we will provide beer for the male supporters, wine and champagne for the female supporters, and if these supporters so desired they could bring a plate of nibblies or something? Very cultural, I know.... but at least we may have a bit of a support crowd at the match.

if you are involved in any capacity in the match or think you might be, whether that involves playing, scoring, substitute fielding, or umpiring... you will not be able to have an alcoholic drink during the match
