    Round 11 (24 January 2004) One Day
    Tuesday 20th January 2004
With the passing of David Hookes yesterday, we as players and a club will recognise and acknowledge David's contribution to cricket as a player who competed at the highest level for his country, as a coach and administrator of the game and also honour his memory and tragic loss, with the wearing of black arm bands during play on Saturday 24th January 2004.
We should ask the Captain and players of the team we are playing for a pause the start of play with a minute silence.
Not only is the loss of David significant to Australian Cricket, but an absolute tragedy for his family and friends.

    Regards, Mark Hill
