CC Hotel won the toss and batted. Steel batted well with Nolan to put on 54 for the first wicket before the Breakers responded with regular wickets to have them all out for 132 in the 28th over. Steel was the star with good support from Nolan 14, Jacobson 21 and Macey 25 as the last wicket.

Breakers started poorly losing 3 for 13 then being 5 for 45 before the Sweet bros put on 44 in quick time before Chris retired and Phil was out for 16 leaving the Breakers 6 for 89.

Solid batting by the lower order, Fisher 12 and Mullineaux 19 not out along with Chris coming back to finish on 59 not out gave the Breakers victory by 2 wickets in the 31st over.

Steel was also excellent with the ball taking 2 for 2 off his 6 overs. Elder also bowled well with 3 for 35. A close game, well played by all involved and well umpired by John Chalmers. We all look forward to more good cricket.
