Always a great match up, round 11 had the Breakers taking on Long Reef CC. The Reefers won the toss and were a little confused what to do on this fine day with thrity-something degree heat... So they decided to... field!

Matt Fisher was disappointed at losing the toss, but accepted the challenge well.

The Breakers, feeling good about Long Reef's choice, soon felt shaky when the first two wickets of Rob Herne (3) and Doug Alley (0) fell for a poor 4 runs. The Breakers camp were still confident this unusal start could be recovered with plenty in the batting arsenal.
