Leaning quickly how to adapt his indoor talents to the wide green spaces of Sydney’s Northern Beaches, “The Gorm-meister” proved one of the aces up the occasionally laundered sleeve of the B3s juggernaut. I think I speak for the entire club when I say, “has anyone seen my badger?” (Fish, April 2005) Improved his reliability with the bat with his 33 at Dee Why a match winning innings. Also picked up valuable wickets at crucial times. (J.B., 2007/08) Wayne really helped me out at the start of the season, putting ideas into reality and organizing things behind the scenes, He didn’t trouble the scorers this season with the bat, but he bowled exceptionally well and took some crucial wickets.
