[April 2003] Another newcomer to the club, Richo was a fantastic find, but probably a bit to late in the season. Rich managed to score a lot of runs, without too many dismissals in only 5 games. Will be at the higher end of the batting averages and aggregates with a full season under his belt. Funnily enough, another guy who loves a beer with the boys, but then again who doesn’t? (Matt Fisher)

[April 2005] Your friend and mine, “Moron” had a memorable season however not always for reasons he would like to recall. Let it be said he played some wonderful hands this year (a top score at Terrey Hills springs to mind) and was involved in some truly amusing incidents. Richo is one of many unique characters that makes our club a great place to play and his contribution to the team cannot always be measured in runs (at least not those that take the entire length of the pitch). (Rob Lavery/Matt Fisher)

When he opens his mouth, all present fall silent before his awe-inspiring oratories. Not content to rest on his batting abilities, Richo turned his hand to slip fielding this year with devastating results. A man for the moment. (Laves/Fish, 2005/06)

On the field, Richo is the ultimate cavalier’s cavalier. Possessing every shot in the arc, he played a particularly memorable innings against Collaroy Plateau to secure a vital victory. Off the field he is a fount of something (quotables?) delivering them in his inimitable Richo way. (Laves, 2006/07)

Boof once again had a great season for the Breakers playing some important innings and taking some great catches in the slip cordon. His 18 in the third round against Collaroy was a great knock against some quality bowling. Of more importance this season has been his advice and life coaching to the younger players in the side. His concerns on South Americans at high altitude and the burdens of being born with red hair are just two examples of his wisdom that I know personally helped me get through this year. (Doug-a-las, 2007/08)

Boof, or Victor Trumper as we now like to call him, had another great year for the breakers. He played a number of very important innings with the bat and once again proved to be an outstanding purchase at 1st slip. Not only can he take the odd slips catch but his “One Liners” to opposing batsmen are pure gold and have led to many a great batsmen’s downfall. Unfortunately, Boof has confirmed to me that he will never again play a team that has anyone under the age of 15 in it. Once again Boof, Pure Gold. I actually think that Boof has had such a good year in 08/09 that we should all walk over to him right now and give him a big hug…….. (Doug-a-las, 2008/09)
