The Breakers token Kiwi (who will now tell us he is no longer a Kiwi, but an Aussie, ha ha ha), Roger was another player who was always ready to give 110% when he wore a wollen vest out to bat on a 40oC day at David Thomas. Roger is certainally a team player, willing to give his place up for someone else, even though sometimes he isn't allowed to do this - it is almost not fair. Starting the season with a bad knee after off season surgery Roger was never really able to find his stride, but managed to come good in the final game of the season, the President's Cup challenge, where he got a bag of wickets and few runs as well. (Fish, 2001/02)

Now officially an "ANZAC" , Rog is Tenentious, moody, remarkably determined - and even more remarkably injury prone.

Again committed 110% to the club this season with some excellent work both on and off the field. Always the first to put his hand up to help with off field projects, Mr Bond has contributed greatly to the club once again. His efforts on the field were just as special. He never leaves anything out on the ground and often collapses from exhaustion after leaving the field. His quickfire knock of 18 against Balgowlah almost snatched victory for the team and he also got 2 for 11 against the Leaguies with the ball. Way to Sniper Up Rog!! (Doug-a-las, 2007/08)

What do you say about a guy like Mr Bond. The best clubman I have ever had the pleasure of playing sport with. Is willing (and able) to do anything and everything asked of him and always does it with pleasure. This is proved perfectly by the example of the time during the season that someone (Northy!) left the team esky behind after a game down at Narrabeen. Instead of just buying a new esky, Rog Moore drove all the way back down to the ground the following day to see if the esky was still there. Unfortunately it wasn’t but Rog still made the effort to go and look. Well done Rog. Top Stuff Rog!! (Doug-a-las, 2008/09)
