[2003/04] Again the star player this season, as well as vice captain. Rob started the season well with twin 70’s in the first match. Rob took a bag full of wickets, scored over 500 runs, and even scored a century in round 7. Seemed to lose concentration in a few innings, but Rob had a fun season and was an excellent vice captain. Thanks to Rob for his work on and off the field. Picked up the nickname of “Lego man” from an opposition team due to his white plastic helmet. (Fish, April 2004)

[2004/05] “Legoman” had a reasonably quiet year, compared to previous years, though was solid whether it be in captaincy, with the bat, with the ball, or in the field. A disastrous start to Rob’s captaincy at the Breakers with Round 1 vs Harbord Bowling with an outright loss was quickly forgotten with wins over other teams later in the season and Rob proved to be a worthy leader, and vice-captain throughout. “Alpaca Boy” also managed to provide some of the strangest sledges through out the season including “you are the ugliest man I have ever set eyes upon.” (Fish, April 2005)

Is the quickest 3rd change bowler going around. He managed to scare many middle order batsmen with his lethal short bowling on most occasions. His figures of 3 for 2 against Narrabeen helped to secure an outright victory, and the minor premiership, and were a perfect example of his bowling abilities. Rob also contributed plenty with the bat knocking up a quick fire 71 against the Leaguies and an even faster 60 against Narrabeen. (Doug-a-las, 2007/08)

Once again this season Rob proved to me a point I realised long ago - I am really glad he is on my team and I only have to face him in the nets. In particular, his spell of bowling to one middle order batsman from Collaroy was quite frightening to watch (but one which I enjoyed immensely – particularly when he was hit in the ribs and had to spend a few minutes recovering from the vicious blow.) His Nickname of Harmy is well deserved. Rob has also done a great job of running the club this season. His efforts mostly go on unnoticed by everyone and so I would like to personally thank him for all his support and organising throughout 2008/09. Thanks Rob. (Doug-a-las, 2008/09)
