“id” was a revelation for the B3s this year. Topping the batting stats and bowling with some genuine fire at times, he certainly was instrumental in helping the team make the finals for the first time in club history. Heroically he battled through some serious hangovers to take the reigns at the top of the order and came dangerously close to joining the century club against arguably the best team in the competition. (Fish/Laves, 2004/05)

Dave roared back into form in 2006/07 with some trademark innings of unbridled aggression. With a swing of his mighty shoulders and a satisfied tug on his mighty shirt, “id” dispatched many a humbled bowler to the innumerable corners of the almost uniformly round grounds of the Manly Warringah area. (Laves, 2006/07)

Easily uses the biggest bat I have ever seen. And uses it well. Some of his boundaries this year were as big as I have ever seen – and bowling to him in the nets is never fun. Erriott had a great season in 2008/09 – although it was made quite clear that he does not enjoy opening the batting whatsoever. He bowled some really amazing spells of swing bowling, played some vital innings with the bat and took some amazing catches in the field. He certainly left a very good impression on the comp in 2008/09. (Doug-a-las, 2008/09)
