Col was again one of our top wicket takers and a solid number 11 batsman. With his big swinging bowling Col was able to rip through many sides, but there was no side he ripped through quite like he did against Belrose RSL. Col took a thousand wickets in this match, and his match figures would indicate that this would be close to Col;s highlight of the season. However, a suggestion for next season would be for Col to receive an incentive-based contract which enables him to a free scooner with every four he hits, as every time this has been offered, Col has managed two or more 4's (Matt, May 2002)
