Member's and Players Privacy

The Manly Breakers Cricket Club is committed to handling your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act.

We need to collect, use, and disclose some of your personal information in order to provide you with the ability to play cricket with the club. You can chose not to provide us with this information but this may effect our ability to assess your application to join and play cricket with the Manly Breakers Cricket Club.

By providing your personal information to us you acknowledge and consent that:

1. We will collect and use your personal information to assess your current and any subsequent membership applications.
2. For these purposes, we can collect your personal information from you, and disclose it on a confidential basis to the following:
   • Our related entities such as the Manly Warringah Cricket Association, the NSW Cricket Association, Sydney Morning Cricket Association and the Australian Cricket Board.
   • Law enforcement agencies as and if required by law.
   • Medical providers, such as ambulance officers, in case of ill health or accident, whilst representing and/ or playing cricket for the Manly Breakers Cricket Club; and

3. Where you provide personal information to us about another person, you are authorised to provide that information to us. That you will inform that person who our organisation are, how we use and disclose their information and from December 21st, 2001 they can gain access to that information, on request.
4. We are committed to provide you with access to a range of leading cricket products and services. In order to do this we may from time to time use your personal information to offer you these products and services. We may also disclose your personal information on a confidential basis to our related entities so that they can offer your products and services.
